My profile

I studied in the field of biology, and more particularly in conservation biology. I started with a bachelor's degree in life sciences, ecology, then an international master's degree in conservation biology (Master EMME - Ecology Monitoring and Management of Ecosystems). I then wanted to specialize in the genetic study of mammals through my master project.

Why OPPAL?

OPPAL came my way in 2021, when I was beginning a period of questioning concerning the issue of large predators. I wanted to have the experience of the conservation of large predators, but also and especially the vision of the breeders, the shepherds, and the real challenges imposed by the natural presence of large predators on the mountain pastures.

I then participated in the first season of missions on an alpine pasture in Valais, and I then approached the committee to help with fundraising.

OPPAL is a young and dynamic association which is very close to my heart, because it wants to remain neutral in the wolf issue, and it improves efficiently the relations between pastoralism and large predators. It proves that cohabitation is possible, with the implementation of human protection means, and a constant surveillance. It is finally a source of scientific data, a growing will to improve this problem, and above all, a superb human adventure.

My assets for OPPAL

Dynamic, at ease with human contact and loving to learn, I now wish to help OPPAL to intensify and continue its awareness workshops with the general public. I love hiking and adventures in the wilderness, and I want to be able to go back into the field in this new season!
